Remember those scorching April days which presaged a supposed Saharan summer humdinger, courtesy of global warming? Well, in hindsight Rikk Lukas's all weather leather, featured above, made perfect sense.

The orange squash was an appropriate thirst quencher on the club's penultimate outing of Season 06—07. And the 'Hot Pies and Mash' teapot (far right) is one to look for behind the counter of any self-respecting pie outlet.

This table-top shot shows that lovely couple Rachel Evans and Cyril Goin, who were spending a pleasant furlough 'en velo' in the west of London. The rest of us enjoyed a lengthy commute up from the centre of town in our lunch 'hour'.

We welcomed newcomer Thomas Kraft, a dynamic young theologian from Germany. Thomas also plays as fourth-choice goalkeeper for Bayern Munich in the number 33 shirt. He's very modest about his career as a pilot, but my research uncovered a resumé at the following link.

Thom had already introduced Ben Hayes and myself to the current craze for 'Currywurst', so this was something of a cultural exchange. On this occasion Thom enjoyed a side order of peas, a delicious but regrettably non-scoring accompaniment. The picture captures him uncovering something 'pneumatological' in his upturned pie.

We were graced with the presence of Graham Darlow (Supreme Champion 02—03) who despite the absence of eels managed to boost his score into triple figures on only his fourth excursion of the season.

As ever the Cockney's experience was top-notch and a thoroughly enjoyable time was had by all.
